During the first semester, this English IV class, named "Law and Literature," will set out on a journey to discover the ins and outs of the American Justice System aided by the help of Mrs. McKenzie, a former practicing lawyer. We will use works of literature, the Internet, and in-class lectures to help us get a deeper understanding of how our justice system works. By the end of this class, we hope to emerge as people who are now well versed in our nation's legal processes, whether they be criminal or civil proceedings.
